ABSTRACT: This study examines the impact of international collaborations on vocational education, focusing on how partnerships with foreign institutions and organizations enhance vocational training quality and outcomes. The objectives were to (1) assess the extent and nature of international collaborations in vocational education, (2) evaluate the benefits and challenges of these collaborations, and (3) propose strategies to maximize the positive impact of international partnerships. A survey design was employed to gather data from vocational educators, administrators, and students involved in international collaborations. The sample size included 180 participants, selected through a purposive sampling technique to ensure representation from those directly engaged in collaborative initiatives. The case study focused on Abuja, Nigeria, where several international vocational education partnerships exist. Findings revealed that international collaborations significantly improved curriculum quality, access to advanced training technologies, and student exposure to global best practices. However, challenges such as cultural differences and funding constraints were also noted. Recommendations included strengthening institutional support for international collaborations, providing cross-cultural training for participants, and seeking diversified funding sources to sustain and expand partnership activities.
